Kids Celebration is directed by Dr. Bill Buchanan. Dr. Buchanan is an Associate Professor of Recreation and Leisure Studies at Oklahoma Baptist University. He has taught at O.B.U. for the past twenty years. His vision is to share God’s love with children and parents as they participate in high energy, fun-filled, interactive games.

Dr. Buchanan is known abroad for his ability to facilitate biblical learning and participate in God’s truths through gaming and recreation. He has written games for organizations such as Team Kids and TM412. He has also provided camp recreation services in 21 states over the past 19 years. Bill’s goal is to bring families together in a fun-filled night where they can laugh and learn together.

Bill feels as parents “we don’t laugh enough with our kids”. If you want a family night filled with laughter please call us.

Joining the Kids Celebration Staff is Darrell and Sherry Haley. Darrell is the Ministry Director of Summit Camps and his wife joins him in this ministry as the Secretary. They were one of the founders of Summit Camps and have been with them for 20 years. He is also a youth pastor at a local church and is currently working at a mission center in Oklahoma City part time as well. Darrell and Sherry have been in the youth ministry for over 28 years. He also works with children on a daily basis at the mission center as well as at many of his camps. Their life is never boring as working in the ministry can show. They really know how to have fun. I am sure that you will be blessed if this couple comes to lead your event.
