What is it?
Kids Celebration is a live 30-60 minute interactive family event that combines group interaction, music, and awesome games!

Purpose?
To remind parents of the importance of laughing and playing with their children along with challenging children to be different by making good choices. The program focuses on issues that every child needs to hear such as respect, honesty, kindness, self-esteem and safety. The children and participants will engage in high energy, fun filled, interactive games.

About Us
Kids Celebration is directed by Dr. Bill Buchanan.  Dr. Buchanan is an Associate Professor of Recreation and Leisure Studies at Oklahoma Baptist University.  He has taught at O.B.U. for the past twenty-two years.  Dr. Buchanan has traveled all across the United States as well as Internationally challenging parents and their children to keep their family first.  He is acutely aware of the issues that children and parents are facing in the 21st century.  His goal is to use group interaction, music, and awesome games to challenge children and their parents to be different by making positive choices in their lives.
